Effective date: June 22, 2026. These terms apply to SafeDisk AI, getsafedisks.com, the free Mac scan, the browser fallback scan, and the free SafeDisk AI deletion judgment trial.

Product summary
SafeDisk AI provides a local Mac storage scanner, a lightweight browser fallback for one folder, and a fixed-scope AI deletion judgment. The current public trial is free: SafeDisk helps with one real storage problem by separating likely useless files, confirm-first items, and protected data from read-only metadata.
No guaranteed space recovery
SafeDisk can identify likely storage culprits and provide cleanup guidance, but it does not guarantee that a specific amount of space will be recovered. Actual results depend on your device, permissions, applications, active files, backups, snapshots, and which recommendations you choose to follow.
Cleanup control
The SafeDisk scan itself does not permanently delete files. Any cleanup action requires explicit review and confirmation. When the Mac app moves an item to Trash, it is meant to stay recoverable until you verify the related apps and files still work. You remain responsible for reviewing recommendations before removing files or emptying Trash.
Trial reply
The free SafeDisk AI deletion judgment trial covers one fixed-scope request. Delivery starts after request confirmation and after we receive enough read-only storage metadata, such as a SafeDisk scan summary, Docker/Xcode summary, CI storage incident, or comparable information. Typical delivery target is 24-48 hours after usable metadata is received, but complex or unclear cases may require one clarification.
What is included
- Safe, confirm-first, and do-not-touch cleanup categories.
- An ordered deletion judgment for the submitted storage problem.
- Clarification of risky folders such as application state, backups, Xcode archives, simulator runtimes, Docker volumes, and active project files.
- One reasonable clarification reply about the delivered plan.
What is not included
- Remote device access, managed IT support, emergency incident response, malware removal, or forensic recovery.
- Open-ended consulting, team-wide storage audits, or repeated cleanup of multiple machines under one trial request.
- Legal, compliance, tax, security, medical, or financial advice.
- Guaranteed recovery of a specific number of gigabytes.
Acceptable use
Use SafeDisk only for devices, accounts, CI runners, repositories, or infrastructure you own or are authorized to administer. Do not use SafeDisk to destroy evidence, hide activity, remove data you are not allowed to manage, bypass employer policies, or interfere with systems owned by someone else.
Your responsibilities
- Back up important files before deleting or emptying Trash.
- Review recommendations before taking action.
- Do not submit secrets, private keys, passwords, client files, or confidential file contents.
- Provide accurate storage metadata and tell us if a folder belongs to an active project, backup, archive, or production workflow.
Current free trial
The current SafeDisk AI deletion judgment trial does not require payment. If SafeDisk later introduces paid plans, or if we need to support an older paid order, the relevant checkout, invoice, tax, refund, and chargeback terms will apply only to that paid transaction.
Refunds
The current trial is free, so there is no charge to refund for a normal free-trial request. Refund rules for older paid or duplicate transactions are described in the Refund Policy.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what storage metadata, support data, analytics data, and older paid-order metadata may be processed.
Availability and changes
We may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the product as the beta evolves. We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimers
SafeDisk is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow all disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SafeDisk AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost profits, business interruption, or cleanup actions you choose to perform. For a free trial, our total liability is limited to discontinuing or correcting the free service where appropriate. For any older paid order, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for that order, except where law does not allow that limitation.
